Cole Engineering Services (CESI), a By Light company, is recognized as a premier provider of modeling and simulation (M&S) training solutions to the Federal Government and industry. Since 2004, CESI has been at the forefront of developing, maintaining, and integrating simulation-based training, serious gaming, technical services, training and other support in live, virtual, constructive, and gaming (LVCG) domains.  CESI also designs, builds and runs infrastructure, platforms, applications and processes that enable cyber training for the integrated multi-domain force. Essential Job Functions:   Develop as part of an agile development team, capabilities for a next generation training system. The codebase consists of Angular, TypeScript, Java, and NodeJS.  Software is developed in an Agile DevSecOps environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of Eight years software development experience, with at least Six (6) years’ experience developing in Angular, TypeScript, Java, and NodeJS.
• Experience with NoSQL or SQL databases.
• Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo required.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, S3, Kafka, Grafana, Prometheus;
• Ansible Experience with AWS and/or Azure, a plus.
• Experience with Nexus, Harbor, Maven, Gradle, a plus.
• Experience with CesiumJS library or similar 3D toolset, a plus.
• Must have experience working both independently and as a member of a software development team.

• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Some travel may be required.   
• This is an onsite position.
