Cole Engineering Services (CESI), a By Light company, is recognized as a premier provider of modeling and simulation (M&S) training solutions to the Federal Government and industry. Since 2004, CESI has been at the forefront of developing, maintaining, and integrating simulation-based training, serious gaming, technical services, training and other support in live, virtual, constructive, and gaming (LVCG) domains.  CESI also designs, builds and runs infrastructure, platforms, applications and processes that enable cyber training for the integrated multi-domain force. Software Engineer responsible for developing the next generation collective training software systems.  

This includes the training management tools leveraging modern Angular frameworks, and microservices within Java along with the simulators and simulations leveraged in this next generation training environment.

Software will be developed in an Agile DEVSECOPs development environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, or software engineering from an accredited college or university. 
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in software development with relative agile development tools experience. Requires competence with Angular, TypeScript, Java, and NodeJS along with software analysis and design, performance analysis, configuration, code and data management.  
• Agile development experience in a DEVSECOPS environment is an advantage.
• Experience with simulation systems like AVCATT, NCM3, CCTT, WARSIM, OneSAF, JDLM and general simulation experience not required, but is a plus.

In accordance with the specifications of a government contract, eligibility for this position mandates U.S. Citizenship status and ability to obtain Secret security clearance. The precise security clearance requisites will be detailed in the Government's Task Order.

Some travel may be required.
