Position Overview

DevSecOps will lead a team that is responsible for providing development pipeline tools, securing, and providing enterprise monitoring and deployment capabilities in support of a next generation collective training software system.

Responsibilities

  • DevSecOps leads a team in creating and modifying Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, building in security processes, and scanning tools and remediating findings from the results of executing those tools, and developing enterprise deployment and execution monitoring capabilities for a next generation training system.
  • Work with other development scrum product owners to create automated build, test, security checks, execution monitoring, and deployment of simulation capabilities. The code consists of Java, C++, Angular, and TypeScript.  
  • Software is developed in an Agile DevSecOps environment.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Eight (8) years’ experience developing, integrating, and testing capabilities of large, complex environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools including Jira, Bitbucket, and Bamboo required.
  • Experience as a Product Owner in an Agile development team.
  • Experience with Nexus, Harbor, Argo, Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, and CMake a plus.
  • Must have experience working both independently and as a member of a software development team.
  • Should have experience with OpenStack and/or OpenShift cloud infrastructure technologies.

Special Requirements/Security Clearance

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status and a TS/SCI security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
