Overview

By Light is hiring a Site Manager to join our team providing Information Technology (IT) support services to the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) located at Fort Benning and remote locations Camp Merrill and Camp Rudder. The team will deliver comprehensive, integrated, end-to-end IT Systems Support services to include Network Systems Support, Computer Systems Support, Systems Engineering, Cyber Protection, Business Intelligence, IT Metrics Reporting and Quality Control.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all personnel assigned.
  • Be telephonically available to the Government representative from 0700 thru 1700, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. Be available to be at a specified work location within 30 minutes during normal duty hours and within two hours after duty hours
  • Immediately report (within 30 minutes) any imminent system failure to the Government representative and provide a recommended operational or repair solution.
  • Complete and submit reports to the Government such as after-action reports, network outage and failure report, maintenance schedule plans, and other reports as required.
  • Provide technical assistance to the Government in support of the Government’s inspection and acceptance of third–party Contractor installation projects.
  • Support technical evaluations, Inspector General (IG) inspections and engineering projects.
  • Oversee the performance of monthly maintenance and replacement/upgrade to noncore systems/services and core systems/services during a planned maintenance window.
  • Attend weekly/monthly status meetings, and provide information briefs.
  • Provide on-site technical guidance to corresponding government personnel.
  • Develop project plans pertaining to long, short term and/or temporary initiatives.
  • Review all new process enhancements and/or modifications, and provide implementation updates to the Government.
  • Develop a quality control plan (QCP) and implement a quality control program to satisfy contract requirements.
  • Provide project coordination and management to assist the NEC and its customers in the implementation and maintenance of the enterprise system components and other products that fall under the umbrella of Enterprise Systems Management.
  • Produce system configuration documents and adhere to the quality control processes for all documentation developed and maintained.
  • Document actions and status of assigned tasks in accordance with established procedures to include the management of assets.
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to team. Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: BS Degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • Experience: 10 years or more of relevant work experience.
  • Supervisory/Managerial Experience: 8-10 years’ experience commensurate with the position requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with government regulations, policies, and limitations within their scope of responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Possess a good understanding of DoD/Army Network Infrastructure to include Wireless, Cyber Security compliance and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Department of Defense 8570 Baseline Certification for IAT Level I (A+ or Network+ Certification)
  • Security Clearance: Secret

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience supporting or assigned to the DoD and/or U.S. Army.
  • Communication skills to effectively interface with military officials, managers, and subordinates.
  • PMP Certification
  • ITIL Certification
