    By Light is hiring a Technical Writer to join our team supporting MARTA in Atlanta. This position will develop, design and write documentation to be used by the Department of Safety and Quality Assurance for internal and external use.

    Responsibilities

    • Produce technical manuals, reports, policies, processes, procedures and guidelines.
    • Collaborate with other staff to develop training materials, compile and organize technical data from various warehousing sources, create comprehensive presentations, review and revise existing departmental policies and procedures.
    • Conduct research, assessments and other fact-finding measures to complete assigned task.

    Required Experience/Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English or a related field.
    • A minimumof 5 years of experience in professional technical writing.
    • Must have demonstrated accomplishments of having worked in various technical disciplines.
    • Must possess expert proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat Professional and DC, Visio, SharePoint or similar software.
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask are essential.
