Overview

Phacil, a By Light company, is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to join our team supporting a Government customer in Washington DC. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for SharePoint 2013 Server Farms, SharePoint 2013 Server Farm Topology, SharePoint O365, deploying SharePoint 2013 Farms, Configuring SharePoint Technologies Farms; Creating Shared Services Providers; Configuring Server Farms; Configuring Administration Settings, Configuring IIS.
  • Responsible for planning, building, and maintaining SharePoint development, staging, and production environments.
  • Responsible for securing SharePoint 2013 and SPO Security Accounts, Security Content, Securing   Communications within a Server Farm, Server Hardening, Information Architecture, Solution Architecture.
  • Responsible for Operations and Management of a Server Farm, system monitoring, Troubleshooting Migrations   and Upgrades, Capacity Planning and Sizing at direction of client.
  • Support for auditing and management of SharePoint sites and site collections.
  • Support for Search and Indexing, Search Architecture, Crawl and Query Process, and Search Server Layouts.
  • Evaluate and recommend new SharePoint related tools and technologies.
  • Evaluate and recommend future growth of SharePoint Farm.
  • Responsible for building form using InfoPath Designer and workflows using SharePoint Designer.
  • Responsible for building workflows using SharePoint Designer.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operational support of the internal SharePoint system.
  • Proficiency in InfoPath and SharePoint Designer.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SharePoint.
  • Responsible for meeting with customers, gathering requirements, and building out solutions based on   requirements utilizing out-of-the-box SharePoint web parts.
  • Develop and maintain documentation pertaining to standards, procedures and techniques for administration,   change management, and problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and DBA groups on backup/recovery operations and disaster recovery testing   related to SharePoint implementation.
  • Responsible for testing, deployment, and maintenance of SharePoint web parts, master pages, site templates,   and other SharePoint related customizations.
  • Recommend best-practices that enhance end-user experience and promote both system efficiency and   maintainability. Apply patches, service packs, and infrastructure updates.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of SharePoint experience.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2013.
  • Knowledge of Powershell scripting.
  • Proficiency in InfoPath and SharePoint Designer.
  • Understanding of load balancers, firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Understanding of overall Microsoft windows network (i.e., Active Directory, ADFS).

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience with activities specifically related to SharePoint Migration from On Premise to SharePoint Online.

Special Requirements/Security Clearance

  • Candidates must have a Secret clearance in order to meet the DOJ security requirements.
  • The position is an onsite position and we support our customers between the hours of 7am - 5pm. The position will require a person that can work between those hours.
