By Light is seeking a Junior Test Analyst for the Cybersecurity Network Operations (CyberNetOps) Design Deploy Sustain (CNODDS) contract, a recently awarded five-year contract supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).  Our team will provide end-to-end CNODDS lifecycle services to architect, develop, integrate, deploy, secure, operationalize, sustain, document, patch, monitor, optimize and evolve CyberNetOps capabilities for DISA, DoD Combatant Commands, Services, and Agencies, and other Federal Agencies on a global basis.


  • Serve as Junior Test Analyst for a large IT program
  • Provide test expertise in the development of test processes, standards, and guidelines for the function
  • Execute unit/component test procedures for all project components, create and execute integration test procedures, execute regression tests, coordinate and execute user acceptance testing, and create and execute performance tests
  • Support current production system break/fix and enhancement efforts to include requirements review, test formulation, test scenario preparation, test execution, and test summary preparation
  • Document and analyze test results, produce status reports, and assist with the defect management process
  • Accurately estimate testing efforts for project planning and tracking and provide input to project master schedule
  • Keep management appropriately informed of progress and issues
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in process and regularly assess documentation and reports for accuracy and improvement

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Requires one of the following certifications within 6 months: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH
  • Must have 2 years of experience in testing
  • Experience setting up test environments, executing test cases, and tracking defects
  • Experience in defining acceptance criteria and coordinating and executing IT testing
  • Experience creating and executing test plans and procedures and documenting the expected and actual results
  • Able to manage time and priorities effectively
  • Some Travel may be required

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Secret Clearance with SSBI or Top Secret preferred
