Overview

By Light is seeking a Systems Design Engineer for the Cybersecurity Network Operations (CyberNetOps) Design Deploy Sustain (CNODDS) contract, a recently awarded five-year contract supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). Our team will provide end-to-end CNODDS lifecycle services to architect, develop, integrate, deploy, secure, operationalize, sustain, document, patch, monitor, optimize and evolve CyberNetOps capabilities for DISA, DoD Combatant Commands, Services, and Agencies, and other Federal Agencies on a global basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provides system engineering and solution-based architecture for commercial and military applications
  • Researches and evaluates products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability
  • Reviews designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and customer contract requirements, and related specifications
  • Develops implementation schedules, test plans, and training programs
  • Schedules and resolves engineering design and test problems

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Requires at least one of the following certifications within 6 months of hire: CCNA Security, CySA+, GIC SP, GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP, CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH
  • Proficient in decision making, multitasking, and time management
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with customers, end-users, and other trades
  • Operating knowledge of all MS Office products
  • Ability to follow and revise advanced flow diagrams
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Secret Clearance with SSBI or TS preferred

Special Requirements/Security Clearance

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Secret Clearance required
