Overview

By Light is seeking a GINMS SME for the Cybersecurity Network Operations (CyberNetOps) Design Deploy Sustain (CNODDS) contract, a recently awarded five-year contract supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). Our team will provide end-to-end CNODDS lifecycle services to architect, develop, integrate, deploy, secure, operationalize, sustain, document, patch, monitor, optimize and evolve CyberNetOps capabilities for DISA, DoD Combatant Commands, Services, and Agencies, and other Federal Agencies on a global basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional input to the GINMS Common Communications Board (CCB) based on requirements/needs of DISA Ops Group
  • Defines and describes the functionality of component level symbols as illustrated in the GINM Definition of required alarms (severity, descriptions, additional attributes)
  • Describes and illustrates how to build local custom filters and maps
  • Defines and describes procedures to determine site isolation and complete circuit list for any site maps in the GINMS system (definition of circuits, services and equipment to be monitored
  • Definition of required business system integration between GINMS and other systems used by DoD Ops to drive automation and increase effectiveness).
  • Assists in the development of Request for Work (RFW) to drive required GINMS Configuration, Integration and Development to meet DoD Ops Needs.
  • Defines and configures the following to drive GINMS visualizations required by DOD Ops:
    • Maps   
    • Asset Groups
    • Alarm Filters
    • Custom dVUEs
  • Provides GINMS User Training to DoD Ops Personnel
  • Provides process flow and trend analysis support
  • Develops SATCOMrelated performance trend reports from GINMS data
  • Analyzes DISA Ops processes and connects related GINMS data into consolidate views, custom maps and filters.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related area
  • 2-4 years of direct and demonstrated experience
  • IAT Level II Certification or higher
  • Experience with industry standard alarm surveillance, fault management, event management, and configuration management
  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Working knowledge Microsoft Office Tools; specifically, PowerPoint, Word & Excel
  • Excellent communication, effective leadership, and interpersonal skills

Special Requirements/Security Clearance

  • Secret clearance required
  • Some travel may be required
