Metova, a By Light company, is seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join our team on the forefront of cyber network defense within the DoD in San Antonio, Texas. This position will perform under little supervision, and will mentor junior level teammates.

The Python Developer will work on a software development team charged with the design, integration, production, testing, and installation of multidisciplinary environments worldwide. We are on the cutting edge, working with the AF and DoD in defensive cyber warfare. From a Developer's point of view, the breadth of capabilities we are building into the Cyber Vulnerability Assessment/Hunter weapon system will not be found in any other organization throughout the DoD. #DANS

• Software development responsibilities include: requirements gathering, requirements analysis, architecture and design, coding, testing and validation, and research.
• Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of software, remote sensors and network sensors.
• Writes, analyzes, and reviews programs, using workflow charts and diagrams, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic.
• Writes, updates, and maintains computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs.
• Develops computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.
• Develops software, remote sensors and network sensors.
• Prepares and tests software source code and configuration files, as well as performs unit and integration testing of the new software.

• BS 5-7yrs or MS 3-5yrs
• Candidate must possess an IAT Level II Certification.

• Experience with databases implementation and servers: SQL, MongoDB
