Overview

By Light is seeking a program manager to join our team in a proposal to support USCIS with technical operations support services at Stennis Space Center, Stennis MS. Services to be performed are critical in the monitoring, coordinating, remediating, and reporting for all network incidents, maintenance, and outages within the USCIS infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage resources and supervise contractor staff in the performance of all work.
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and execution of all PWS activities.
  • Ensure that the schedule, standards, reporting, and subcontract management responsibilities are met.
  • Actively pursue solutions to correct deficiencies when necessary.
  • Be the primary interface with the contracting officer, contracting officer's representative, and government PM.
  • Meet weekly with the government PM and contracting officer's representative.
  • Attend status meets.
  • Identify qualified key personnel and leads.
  • Maintain performance requirements.
  • Prepare and present quarterly Program Management Reviews (PMR) which will cover at a minimum, the program’s status on cost (labor-hour portion), schedule, performance, risk management and status of deliverable.
  • Provide a monthly Program Manager’s Report detailing work accomplished, major tasks planned, personnel assigned (where appropriate) and other pertinent work detail to assist the NOC Manager in understanding the labor-hours delivered.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Minimum of 10+ years of IT Program (Project) Management experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
  • ITIL or comparable certification.
  • Certification in at least one of the following: CCNP; CCIE; MCITP/MCSE
  • CISSP or equivalent
