By Light Company is seeking a System Administrator for an important customer in Schofield Barracks, HI.


  • Maintain local Windows PCs and laptops to include maintenance, imaging, and configuration.
  • Desktop Application Support such as MS Office, email and other user applications.
  • Maintain printers and other peripheral devices.
  • Network troubleshooting and diagnostics Maintain wireless connectivity with workstations, laptops, Cell phones, BlackBerrys, and Hotspots
  • Inventory management
  • Perform Audio/Visual installations to include scheduling and facilitation of Video Teleconferences
  • Maintain Working relations with outside agencies, brigades, HQ and companies
  • Provide all touch maintenance to include vulnerability patching, hardware/software upgrades, workstation setup and replacement of workstations and peripherals as directed by servicing NIC.
  • Manage, operate, maintain and support Windows, Linux, and Unix-based systems
  • Lifecycle systems O&M services, backup, and recovery experience
  • Establish virtual images
  • Consolidate, collect, configure, and review system audit logs
  • Manage user access through the account and privileged user management
  • Implement approve IAVA through IAVM
  • Program Monitor system performance and capacity H/D
  • Manage Tier I, II, and III customer service requests 

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Security+ and one other common computing environment certificate
  • Windows Server 2012 R2 Windows 10 workstations and laptops
  • Basic understanding of networking protocols
  • Desktop Support 

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Video Teleconferencing
  • Windows Server 2012 R2 Windows 10

Special Requirements/Security Clearance

  • Interim Secret with ability to obtain Top Secret required
  • Travel Requirement: Less than 10%
  • Position requires proof of Covid-19 full vaccination status or qualified exemptions
