Overview

By Light is seeking a Senior Test Analyst for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Cybersecurity Network Operations (CyberNetOps) Design Deploy Sustain (CNODDS) contract. The team will provide lifecycle services that ID6 or successors use to architect, develop, integrate, deploy, secure, operationalize, sustain, document, patch, monitor, optimize and evolve CyberNetOps capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Rack and stack equipment into equipment racks
  • Patch and interconnect equipment via the Lab DCN and other required lab connections in coordination with Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC)
  • Configure devices with IP addresses and routes to ensure network connectivity
  • Interface the CyberNetOps capabilities labs and/or testbed to other DOD labs located with Ft. Meade or at offsite locations
  • Coordinate lab activities and schedules with the DOD JITC personnel as custodians of the DOD Lab facilities
  • Deploy and upgrade all hardware systems
  • Schedule, coordinate, and conduct the implementation of capabilities to Pre-Production or the lab in coordination with other GSM or Government personnel as approved by the Government
  • Prepare Bills of Material, cost estimates, business cases, analysis of alternatives that will allow DOD to efficiently and effectively execute the efforts supported by the DOD Labs.
  • Prepare a Test Lab deficiency Report whenever a deficiency is discovered in the ability of the DOD Lab to meet requirements or perform its function with resolution options and contractor recommendation.
  • Develop cost estimates and Bills of Material for new lab equipment and test tools
  • Ensure that the pre-production environment adequately emulates the deployed production environment
  • Conduct all required IA scans and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) on lab assets and update POAMs to address any vulnerabilities for capabilities being deployed
  • Support DOD Lab Certification and Accreditation efforts with any documents or actions to ensure an Authority to Operate (ATO) for the DOD Labs
  • Maintain configuration management over all hardware assets deployed to the Labs
  • Establish processes for and maintain Hardware and Software Change and Configuration Management
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Lab configuration is documented in the DoDIN System of Record for configuration management and will provide an audit report every six months to ensure its accuracy
  • Maintain rack elevation drawings and logical interconnection diagrams
  • Maintain and update yearly JITC Lab Customer Requirements Forms about the Test Lab Deficiency Report

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • 5+ years of network systems engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • Ability to type, communicate via telephone and sit for extended periods of time
  • Working knowledge Microsoft Office Tools; specifically, PowerPoint, Word & Excel
  • Excellent communication, effective leadership, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • DoD and/or Government program experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity best practices preferred

Special Requirements/Security Clearance

  • Secret clearance required
  • Position requires proof of Covid-19 full vaccination status or qualified exemption
  • Some travel may be required
