Overview

By Light is hiring an AV Technician to join our team supporting a DoD customer. The VI LAN Coordinator will apply his or her knowledge, past experience, interpersonal skills and administrative techniques to support the assigned team.  Support to be provided includes maintaining accurate work orders, information collection, data entry, order processing and tracking, and managing the video library.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate work orders and ensure that all projects on the production
  • floor are accompanied by work orders.
  • Expedite any projects on the production floor where necessary to meet customer’s needs.
  • Process all incoming work orders, to include filing, tracking and completion of all work orders.
  • Communicate with VI production team members to ensure completed materials are as described in the work order. 
  • Assist customers with pickup of all orders and completed materials.
  • Organize, arrange, catalog, track and keep current graphic, photo, and video assets.
  • Manage video library to organize, track, sort and search the current and future raw, stock, historical, and master videotapes.
  • Operate and maintain a searchable library system for physical and digital assets and utilize FileMaker Pro Software.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years Data Entry or Customer Service

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience with Filemaker Pro is recommended

Special Requirements/Security Clearance

  • Interim Secret Security Clearance is required
  • By Light does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters; vaccination requirements and testing are subject to the status of the federal contractor mandate and customer site requirements; testing is at the cost of the employee.
