By Light is seeking a Program Scheduler responsible for working in a team that is developing the next-generation collective training software system in an Agile DevSecOps environment.


  • Work with development teams and customers to develop and maintain:
    • Detailed schedules
    • Material requirements lists
    • Production plans for products and/or production processes where the process is variable. 
  • Plans and issues schedules and material requirements. 
  • Coordinates Engineering, Production Control, Purchasing, and other applicable departments to achieve optimum utilization of resources in meeting delivery schedules. 
  • Develops and/or modifies team project schedules into an overall master program schedule. 
  • Provides input to management regarding problems such as shortages, design changes, backlogs, and the like. 
  • Maintains all appropriate paperwork. 
  • The position will require additional administrative Program Management Office support duties as assigned.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience. 
  • Minimum 3 years of production planning experience specifically managing an Integrated Master Schedule and use of MS Project
  • Understanding of the Agile software process and knowledge of the JIRA and Confluence software applications
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing activities, including purchasing, materials, production processes, and engineering.
