The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Europe District (NAU) provides vital engineering, construction, and environmental solutions in support of U.S. European Command (EUCOM) and U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) areas of responsibility. By Light is looking to staff positions that would provide  innovative, customer-focused, and cost-effective Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) support services by applying industry standard best practices in addressing USACE NAU mission requirements. Specific services include system administration, network and telecommunication administration services, end user services (help desk), software applications, SharePoint services, cyber security, configuration management, and program management support. 

• Investigate, analyze, and evaluate functions and processes for the continued operation, maintenance, and development of software applications - PULSE and Work Request.
• Support the preparation of new reports/queries as needed to support district business operations such as workload management and reporting that are facilitated by PULSE.
• Provide support for web page development and web server implementation.
• Provide maintenance support to the USACE NAU's Internet web pages that includes maintenance and documentation of new and existing code and content.
• Support current and future updates to custom applications and supporting technologies including but not limited to .NET, SQL, IIS, Angular JavaScript, C# and customized SharePoint Online & SharePoint 2016 code.
• Ensure that all locally developed and maintained applications adhere to all applicable DoD security guidelines for application and database security to include performing security scans of code using DoD approved code scanner and monthly security scans and STIG checks on application, code, web servers, and databases to verify the health of servers that house NAU Applications.
• Provide monthly user training on NAU applications.

• Education/Experience: BA/BS and 5+ years’ experience with software development (Internet/Intranet)
• Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT I (A+ or Network+) and Azure Data Fundamentals
• Must have at least 5 - 8 years of experience in software development with at least 7 years development experience in a SharePoint environment to include work with .Net, Java, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Extensive knowledge of C# and SQL queries

• Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
