The Production Expeditor is responsible for ensuring production has the floor supplies and inventory needed to meet production schedules. The Production Expediter assists with the coordination and distribution of workflow from the stockroom to the assembly leads or designated personnel responsible for work distribution.

Typical Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Verifying pick lists as they come out of inventory and delivering them to the shop and Assembly areas
• Contacting suppliers on supply status, as needed
• Collaborating with planners and the supervisor for updates on delivery timelines and schedules
• Monitoring inbound shipping of parts for delivery dates
• Moving sub-assemblies between operation sequences
• Manually updating the assembly status report
• Providing planners with list of key part shortages
• Performing other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in a manufacturing environment in such areas as inventory, electrical, or mechanical assembly.
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint is preferred.

• Experience as an expediter in a manufacturing environment
