Company Overview

By Light is hiring an experienced full-time Cybersecurity Analyst to support By Light’s Security Operations Center (SOC) and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Program. This is a technical position that will collaborate with By Light’s Corporate IT Team to secure our growing enterprise.  An ideal candidate will support digital forensics, threat hunting, open-source intelligence gathering, data analysis, briefing findings, producing reports, implementing, and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • 5 years of hands-on experience with forensic security tools support detection, response, mitigation, and/or reporting of cyber threats.
  • Experience with Encase, FTK or SIFT Forensics.
  • In-depth operational and technical knowledge of security concepts including, but not limited to dark web, windows and Linux endpoints for immediate action on objective.
  • Must be able to run vulnerability and patching reports, analyze collected data and respond/resolve customer support tickets relating to tools.
  • Proven ability to meet schedule and performance requirements for projects
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various company stakeholders.
  • Experience with various industry best practices and standards regarding cyber security
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience with multiple cyber investigative techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to interface with outside entities as directed.
  • Experience with log aggregation technologies.
