Veraxx Engineering Corporation, a By Light Company is an engineering services company supplying modeling, simulation, and training solutions. Services include hardware, software, and system engineering, requirements assessments, system development, integration, testing, documentation, and customer support services. Veraxx has a high level of expertise in flight simulation hardware and software development, as well as computer architecture, tactical environments, interoperability (HLA/DIS), avionics systems, and real-time embedded systems. Veraxx is the OEM for the Marine Corps aircrew flight simulation interoperability network and tactical environments.
Lead the Contract’s Data Requirements List (CDRL) development and delivery for materials and technical documentation applicable to the hardware utilized in Veraxx’s designs. You will be supporting all project phases from initial proposal effort through the completion of the project. Knowledge of the applicable Data Item Descriptions for the following deliverables: Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Bill of Materials (BOM), Logistics Product Data (LPD), Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP), Baseline Description Document (BDD), Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Trainer Facility Report (TFR), Preventive Maintenance System (PMS), Training System Support Document (TSSD), and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) Libraries. Engineering Technician experience and skills are required to assist in Physical Configuration Audits (PCA).
You are the primary stakeholder for the development, delivery, and implementation of the deliverables under your purview. You will guide Veraxx support staff in collecting data to develop those deliverables for which you are the primary stakeholder. You will assist in the generation of the deliverables listed above and will generate applicable brief material to support those delivery requirements. You will interface with project managers, engineers and company support staff to compile and report logistic matters to the project’s Logistics Integrated Product Team (LIPT).
On some projects you will lead the logistics efforts generating simulation logistics documentation that meets the requirements of the project and on other projects you will oversee other engineers performing the logistics efforts.
