Position Overview

The Project Analyst will provide critical support for the QA Web application sustainment effort by analyzing data, preparing reports, and coordinating project activities. This role ensures timely data-driven insights and smooth execution of project tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in planning, tracking, and reporting project progress.
  • Analyze project performance data and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare and distribute bi-weekly status reports and other project documentation.
  • Assist in managing SharePoint repositories, ensuring data accuracy and version control.
  • Coordinate requirements gathering and validation sessions to align with VA operational needs.
  • Support integration, regression, and user acceptance testing efforts.
  • Track compliance with VA Privacy and Information Security Awareness training requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including meeting minutes, action item logs, and schedules.
  • Facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project analysis or coordination.
  • Familiarity with federal IT projects, particularly within the VA.
  • Experience using project management tools like MS Project, Jira, and SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to synthesize data into meaningful reports and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.).

Special Requirements/Security Clearance

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
