By Light Technologies Limited has been established in the UK to coalesce all the capabilities from By Light LLC (and subsidiaries Cole Engineering Services and Veraxx). We are seeking an experienced Business Development person to shape and build the UK sales opportunities with a vision to growing into Europe, the Middle East and eventually globally outside of USA.
As well as having the drive to grow our presence in the region, the individual will need to have a strong business development and sales background. We are looking for individuals with the drive and experience to grow the business in the region.
In this role, you will report directly to the Managing Director of By Light Technologies Limited and play a pivotal part in the company’s Business Development team. You will work closely with the By Light Business Development and Marketing teams in the USA, taking the lead on sales and business development initiatives assigned to you. This includes overseeing market competitiveness, pricing, distribution channels, strategy, and forging strategic partnerships. Your key responsibility will be driving business growth by executing sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives, while also developing and expanding new customer bases.
You will be accountable for managing the business development and sales process, tracking outcomes, measuring successes and identifying areas for improvement. You will adapt strategies as necessary and contribute to overall business direction. A critical aspect of your role will be developing leads and managing the full business development lifecycle, from inception through to sales. The ability to be a self-starter and foster strategic corporate alliances will be essential to your success in this role.
